Welcome to the Milton Curling Club Website!
We thank you for your visit to our site, and we are happy to provide you with all the news and information you might need regarding the Milton Curling Club. We also encourage you to come see us at the MIlton Curling Club, where all are welcome!
Our 2019-20 season is fast approaching, and we look forward to another succesful year. Our Home page , as always, includes current news and upcoming events for both our current members, and potential new curlers (info about Try-curling events, Learn-to-curl leagues). Full details on dates and times are available on the Calendar pages of this website.
Please visit our Bonspiels page to discover the many fun, and also competitive, events we offer each curling season. There is an event suited to every level of curling experience. Click on any bonspiel, and it will give you all the details relating to it, as well as a link to register for the spiel (note... the 2019_2020 bonspiels are already loaded, and can be signed up for via the Bonspiels page). To contact our Special Events Director you can email via email@example.com.
The Milton Curling Club is a very active organization with club and special event-curling seven days a week. We have both daytime and evening draws to suit our members' needs. Our evening leagues offer Competitive (team entry) and Social (individual entry) draws for Men's, Women's, Mixed and Open curling formats (including a Doubles league). Our Daytime schedule is very active as well, including both Competitive (team entry) and Social (individual entry) draws.
In addition though, we have openings in the calendar (usually Saturdays) where groups can rent both our curling surface and/or our lounge for special events. We also offer rental space weekdays, for periods when there is no league curling. You can visit our Rentals page for help with details on pricing and availability. To contact our Rentals Director you can email via firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Milton Curling Club has been priviledged to have excellent curling ice over the years. This year we have our Head Ice Technician Liam Kane, returning for his second year, to carry on this valued tradition. Both he, and our Assistant Ice Technician, Steve Craig, will be working tirelessly to find ways to maintain, and improve, the quality of the product they offer.
As a result of our excellent ice, we are able to host some highly competitive and entertaining curling, both in-club spiels, open-to-public bonspiels, and could include an OCA (Ontario Curling Association) playdown each season. This year we will be hosting an OCA Traveler's qualifying event October 18th-20th. Our doors are always open to those who may wish to visit and watch some great curling during these club and OCA events.
You might also catch some curling action on our local Milton/Halton Cogeco TV (YourTV), where they televise our competitive league games (Thursday night Mixed Competitive).
The Milton Curling Club is a member owned and operated facility. As a result, your patronage is important to us. Our members work very hard to ensure all our events run smoothly and that you have the most fun possible at the Milton Curling Club. Please take a few moments to check us out. I know you won't be disappointed. We very much look forward to having you visit the Milton Curling Club in the very near future.
