Day Womens CYO 2026-27 League Information Page
Another season begins, and we welcome you back with our first game to be played on October 19. We are excited to have another team join the league this year - Team Morris: Karen Morris, Claire Lanois, Sandy Holloway, Kim Pretto.
Having 10 teams, we are going to have an A and B division with 5 teams in each. Each week we will have 4 teams playing in each division with 2 Bye teams - one from A and one from B. As a result, we will have many spares when needed. The teams finishing in the top 5 last year will form the A division while the other 4 teams, plus the new team will form the B division.
Our league will be set up in the ladder system like the other CYO Leagues, and at the end of each round teams will be moved between A and B according to points earned. We have 21 weeks in the season which will work out to 4 rounds of 5 weeks each (4 games and 1 Bye) resulting in 20 weeks of play.
NOTE: The first two teams with a Bye are: Team Henderson (A Division) and Team Shaw (B Division

Friday Night Open Social: 6:45pm or 9:00pm
This is a social league, welcoming new curlers and returning curlers. This league is an individual sign up and you will rotate teams every two or three weeks throughout the season. The focus is on having fun, while learning to curl or improving your curling skills. There are two draws (Red and Green) that rotate each week curling at 6:45pm or 9:00pm.

First Annual Friday Night Challenge - Jan 8th to Jan 29th, 2027
The Green Draw will take on the Red Draw in an epic four-week, 32-game showdown to determine which draw will be crowned the champion and earn the ultimate prize: bragging rights as the best draw on Friday night!
